These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dereverb — Echo Remover AI application ("the App") published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Dereverb is an iOS application that removes room echo and reverb from voice recordings and video clips. Cleanup runs on your device using a bundled Core ML model. Features include in-app recording, audio file import, video clip processing (audio is cleaned and remuxed back into the original video without re-encoding), an A/B before/after compare slider, and three strength settings (Light, Standard, Strong).

2. Important Limitations

Dereverb is an audio cleanup tool, not a guaranteed restoration service. You understand and agree that:

• The App is trained for voice recordings (monologue, interviews). Results on music, singing, or non-speech audio may be poor or unusable.
• Heavy reverb (cathedrals, large empty halls, tiled bathrooms) may leave audible residual artifacts. Light-to-moderate room reverb is the App's primary use case.
• Output quality depends on the original recording's noise floor, microphone, and signal-to-reverb ratio.
• Video processing replaces only the audio track of your video; the visual portion is preserved bit-for-bit and is not modified.
• The App is not a replacement for professional audio engineering or studio post-production.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and only on audio you have the right to process. You agree not to:

• Process recordings of other people without their knowledge or consent where required by law
• Use the App to remove evidence of identity from authenticated voice recordings (e.g., for fraud or impersonation)
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the bundled machine-learning model
• Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or free-tier limitations
• Use the App in any manner that violates applicable laws or third-party rights

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Free tier: No charge. 1 cleaned clip per day, up to 60 seconds per clip, Standard strength, with banner and interstitial advertising.
• Premium Monthly: $7.99/month. Unlimited cleans, longer clips up to 30 minutes (audio) and 10 minutes (video), Light/Standard/Strong strength control, batch processing, and zero ads.
• Premium Annual: $39.99/year (save 58% vs. monthly), with a 7-day free trial. Same Premium feature set as monthly.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• If you cancel during a free trial period before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers retain their original price for the remainder of the active term.

5. User Content

Recordings, cleaned files, and history are stored locally on your device. You retain all rights to your audio and video. We do not access, collect, or store your content on any server.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and packaged content, is owned by Bulpara Inc and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose. The bundled machine-learning model is licensed for use within the App only and may not be extracted or redistributed.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT CLEANUP RESULTS WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS FOR A SPECIFIC RECORDING.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BULPARA INC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Decisions made based on a cleaned recording (publication, broadcast, distribution)
• Audio quality of cleaned outputs, including residual artifacts from heavy reverb
• Loss of original recordings due to user error or device failure
• Subscription-related charges that fall under Apple's billing policy

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bulpara Inc from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, including any audio you process and distribute.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the business.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
